"Le départ" is meant to be experienced as a large video-projection in a concert with live cello. The video signals a breaking point, representing the moment of being forced to abandon home. It depicts an internal drama, which demands special attention from the listener and announcing that there is no return. It is an example of our collaborative work engaged with the social drama of forced migration.
